A hallmark:
- Is a set of component marks applied to articles of the precious metals gold, silver, platinum or palladium
- Means that the article has been independently tested
- Guarantees that it conforms to all legal standards of purity (fineness)
- Guarantees provenance by telling us where the piece was hallmarked, what the article is made from, and who sent the article for hallmarking

As a small business we do not mass-produce, so in order to keep the prices as affordable as possible for you we only hallmark our jewellery which exceed the exempted weights (see details below),
at The Goldsmiths’ Company Assay Office in London.
Although we understand that you may want to have your Tinicoterie Jewellery, e.g. a bespoke piece, hallmarked regardless for added intrinsic value — if that's the case please get in touch for a quotation and lead time.
