Shipping policy

ORDER LEAD TIME

Most products sold on thetinicoterie.com are ‘made-to-order’ so please allow up to 2-4 weeks before order dispatch.  You will receive an email notification once your order is ready to ship.

If you wish to receive your order sooner, please email us before placing an order and we’ll try our best to accommodate your request.

Whilst we endeavour to despatch your purchase to you as soon as possible, we can only do this once our payment gateway, Shopify Payments, have approved the payment. If for any reason your payment is rejected or not authorised then we will contact you via email to process the payment. 

 

PACKAGING

Your jewellery will come carefully packaged in a branded jewellery box.  

If you would like to receive your order in light packaging (in a branded jewellery pouch without unnecessary decorations), please remark in ‘Special Instructions’ at Check-out.

 

DELIVERY

We ship all of our orders via registered and recorded delivery where a signature is usually required upon delivery, hence parcels cannot be delivered to a PO Box nor be left in a safe place. 

In the event that there is no one available to sign for the parcel, our delivery partner will leave a card notifying you that delivery has been attempted. All further information on re-delivery can be found on this card.

In case a re-delivery is required, you will be charged at the standard rate listed below.

*For all non-UK countries:

(a) Please note that your package may be assessed for import or customs fees on entry into the destination country. These duties and taxes are the responsibility of the customer, regardless of whether or not a promotional free delivery has been offered. 

Unfortunately these costs can vary between countries and we cannot advise prior to shipment how much they will be.  Please contact your local customs office if you would like to find out the exact charges before placing an order.
In the case of a refused delivery (by reason including but not limited to failing to pay any custom duties) resulting in the loss of the parcel, or the parcel being returned to sender, such loss or subsequent costs incurred (e.g. return shipping charges) will be deducted from the customer’s refund.
(b) Currently we are unable to ship to certain remote islands, archipelagos and a few other countries (including Belgium, France, Russia and Spain) due to import, hallmarking or delivery restrictions  you will be informed whether we ship to your destined location after inputting your delivery address at checkout.
